Alex Archer
Alex began running in middle school in order to stay in shape for other sports. When his twin brother began to train seriously, he followed suit and found his passion. In his four years of high school running he captured several state medals. Afterwards Alex continued his career in his hometown at the University of Pittsburgh, where he competed for the Panthers in the team’s first 4 years in the ACC. While there he focused his attention on longer distances on the track. Though the end of his career was plagued by injury, Alex comes to GRC prepared to drop significant time off his cross country and track PR’s. He is currently a graduate student at Georgetown University.
