Alex Eversmeyer
Alex Eversmeyer grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, and began running in eighth grade. After a modest high school career, he was a member of the conference-winning varsity cross country squad at Kenyon College for two years. Alex finished his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan, and continued to race competitively after his transfer. He discovered multisport while in college, and after completing an Ironman, decided to stick to dry land and race duathlons.
Alex has earned USAT All-American honors twice, and has placed as high as 6th at Duathlon Nationals. He is currently training to compete in duathlons after taking a year off, as well as road and cross country races throughout the year.
Alex is a physical education teacher who now lives in Falls Church, VA with fellow GRCer Charlie Ban.
