Elena Barham
Elena started running in 8th grade as part of rehab for an ACL injury, and while she's fairly certain the injury is fully resolved, she's kept running just to be sure. Elena was an Academic All-American at Northwestern, where she was a consistent scorer for the Wildcats her junior and senior years. Elena's goals with GRC are to make a smooth transition to road racing this fall, and to chase some track PRs in the spring. Elena works as a Junior Fellow for the Democracy and Rule of Law Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and will pursue a PhD in Political Economy. |
