Hannah Eckstein
Hannah began running her freshman year of high school to stay in shape for swimming. Hannah realized 2 important things that converted her to a runner: running allows you to actually talk to your teammates during practice, and it eliminated green chlorine hair. Hannah quickly fell in love with the sport and began running competitively in high school. Hannah ran her freshman year of college at Johns Hopkins, where she was two-time Division III All American. Hannah transferred to Notre Dame, where she placed 20th at both the Big East XC Championships and ACC XC championships, and was co-captain of xc her senior year. Hannah's goals with GRC include breaking 5 minutes in the mile and breaking 1:15:00 in the half marathon. She currently work as a medical assistant at an ophthalmologist office, and will be attending Mercer University Physician Assistant Program in January 2019.
