Liz Tawa
Liz began running after a promising performance in an elementary school fun run, and she never looked back. Although her time running in college was largely hindered by injury, Liz received individual All-Mideast Region Honors in the 2014 NCAA Cross Country Regional Championships and ended her career at Swarthmore with six All-Centennial Conference First Team selections, two school records, and one conference record on a relay. Liz is looking forward to making up lost time with GRC, and she hopes to set PRs across both mid-distance and longer distance events on the track. Liz currently works at the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA), where she researches the neurobiology of alcohol dependence. |
