Michael began his journey as a runner in the spring of his 8th grade year with hopes of courting his then ex-girlfriend. That dream never materialized. He did, however, find a home for himself in the sport of long distance running. Michael competed for Princeton ('13), where he was a many-time Heps and IC4A scorer, and completed a redshirt year at Villanova ('14), where he scored in the Big East. Michael's major claim-to-fame is that he was the all-coveted alternate 1200 leg on Princeton's 2013 NCAA indoor champion distance medley relay. Michael hopes to contribute to the success of GRC and continue PRing into his old age. Michael is a student at the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA where he is pursuing his Masters of Divinity leading to ordination into the priesthood of the Episcopal Church.
