Personal Bests
Michelle Miller is a local runner hailing from Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, MD. She made the big move to the next county northward and competed at Mount St. Mary’s University from 1999-2003 focusing on middle distance. After a few years off after graduation she realized she needed to counteract her second love, baking, with getting back in shape.

_While looking for a group to work out with, she was immediately drawn to
the local-ness of GRC. It seemed only appropriate that she work out on
the same track that she raced on many times as a high schooler. Despite
having a history of writing off any race longer than a mile as just
plain ridiculous, Michelle currently finds herself embracing the longer
distances and plans to focus on the marathon this fall.
When not training and competing, Michelle is a professional monkey snuggler/manager of the neonatal primate nursery at the National Institutes of Health in Poolesville, MD. She spends her remaining 5 minutes a day at home with her husband and two english setters. Michelle is the GRC Secretary.
