Ryan is a native of Evansville, Indiana who was a cross country standout for his hometown University of Evansville.  Ryan graduated in 2011 with a degree in civil engineering.   Ryan moved to Washington to work as an engineer with Clark Construction, and he is ready to embark on his post-collegiate running career with GRC. 

Ryan will focus on improving his track PRs, where he has the potential for tremendous growth.  Despite considering himself an 800-1500 meter run, Ryan was unable to develop as a middle distance runner in college because Evansville did not sponsor track.  Luckily for Ryan, GRC does, and he will have the opportunity to make up for lost time.
