Sam Chauvin
When Sam started running in 7th grade, his goal was to be able to beat his older brother. It took Sam three years to finally do it, and by then he had higher goals. Sam had a solid high school career, but started to hit his stride at Cornell in the longer races. Sam scored in the 10,000 at IC4As a sophomore, and continued to progress over the next two years, which culminated in him winning the IC4A 10,000 championship in his final collegiate race. Sam was also a two-time Heps scorer in the 10,000. Sam intends to drop a few more PRs on the track before moving up in distance. Sam works as a postbac fellow at the NIH.
