Sarah Cook

Sarah started track in 7th grade after realizing that she could run faster without a soccer ball between her feet. She found her place as a long sprinter when she was recruited to run for Carnegie Mellon University in the city of champions: Pittsburgh, PA. In her four years as a Tartan, Sarah earned numerous school records and made an appearance at NCAA outdoor championships. Her slow progression up to the 800m left her wondering if perhaps she was really a mid-D girl all along. She hopes that running with GRC will help her settle the matter once and for all. Sarah currently works as a research fellow at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease.
