Theresa Kennedy
Theresa started track in 8th grade because her dad was a pole vaulter and she thought I could do it, too. While pole vaulting was not her thing, Theresa had a successful high school career as a high jumper and triple jumper. At Princeton, Theresa diversified into the multi events, and was a Heps scorer in the pentathlon and in the open high jump. One of Theresa's major accomplishments was setting a 4 foot PR in the shot put (or as her dad called it in her case, the "short" put), helping her to a 4th place finish in the pentathlon at Heps her senior year. While Theresa had her hands full with multiple events, she showed promise in the running events, and her goal with GRC is to see what she can do in the 400 and 800 when she's not training for 6 other events at the same time. Theresa also plans to bring her 5k time down to gain more street cred with her family when she runs the Turkey Trot next Thanksgiving. Theresa is the Director of Religious Education at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
