Carlos Jamieson

Carlos started running in 8th grade after much persuasion from his Physical Education teachers, and during his stellar career at North Rockland High School in New York he was a four-time All-American, a member of a state record indoor 4 x mile team, and he was the 2005 indoor state champion in the 1600. At American University, Carlos was a five-time Patriot League Champion, three-time NCAA regional qualifier, and he competed in two NCAA Championships, once is cross country, and once in 5,000 meters outdoors.

​As a post-collegiate, Carlos was sixth in the 1500 at the 2012 USATF indoor championships, and qualified for the 2016 Olympic Trials Marathon. Carlos’s goals include significantly improving his half marathon PR, and making a successful transition to the full marathon in time for the 2020 Olympic Trials. He currently works as an elementary school Physical Education Teacher in Washington D.C.
