Dan Meteer

After learning he had been cut from his high school JV soccer team in the 10th grade, Dan turned to track and cross country where legend was you couldn’t get cut no matter how bad you were. Despite his concerns, Dan took very well to the track and won two Massachusetts state titles before leaving to run at Brown University. While five stress fractures, hip surgery, and a torn ACL stunted Dan’s college career, he finally made a full return to the track his senior year to PR in the mile, 5k, and 8k. Now healthy, graduated, and working as an economic consultant in DC, Dan works towards an Olympic Trials qualifier in the marathon as well as any track PRs he can gather up along the way.
