Gwen became a runner because of the inspiration she found in her mom, dad, and grandfather’s excellence in track and cross-country. At Cornell University, she was proud to be a member of a school record holding DMR and 4×800. Individually, she was a three time Heps scorer, the highlight of which was placing third in the 1k as a senior in the last ever Barton Hall Heps. With GRC, Gwen hopes to contribute to a winning DMR at the Millrose Games, and to qualify individually for the indoor USATF championships. Gwen works at NIH as a Postbac studying Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Gwen hopes to go on to medical school and eventually become an oncologist.
