Aaryn started running in high school to train for swimming and quickly realized they liked running more. Aaryn attended Lindenwood University and ran all four years including running all MIAA indoor, outdoor, and cross country conference meets. Post-collegiately, Aaryn ran road races in St. Louis including winning the St. Louis track club half in 2019. Their goals include breaking 2:50 in the marathon and enjoying as many runs as possible. Aaryn is a public school teacher in Montgomery County, Maryland.
