Linnaea Kavulich

Linnaea was so shy as a kid that her mother had to force her to attend her first track practice in 6th grade. She immediately fell in love with the sport, but it took a few years before she would touch anything longer than 400m. Linnaea ran at Columbia, and her proudest achievement is scoring twice at outdoor Heps in an unplanned 10k/3k steeple double. Her other accomplishments include three Oregon state titles and three school records as high school athlete, as well as being a part of the 2019 Ivy League Cross Country Championship team at Columbia and the 2022 NCAA Championships 9th place team while competing as a graduate student at University of Virginia. Professionally, Linnaea is a statistician with the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Her ultimate goal is to apply her data science credentials to her first love/undergraduate pursuit: neuroscience. Linnaea has unfinished business on the track and is looking to better her PRs in the 5000 and 10,000.
