Will started running seriously in 8th grade when he realized he had dim prospects in sports heavy on hand-eye coordination. At Ridgewood high school in New Jersey, Will won the 1600m at the 2019 indoor State Meet of Champions.
In college, Will spent his freshman year at Dartmouth, where he came 4th at the 2020 indoor heps 800m. After transferring to UVA, Will contributed little to the team but ran some excellent PRs before truncating his career a little early and graduating in 2023. Will then took two full years off from serious training, but caught the bug again after running the Cherry Blossom 10 miler in 2025. At GRC Will wants to see if he can turn back the clock in the middle distance events and have a good time doing it. Professionally, Will is a software engineer at Amazon.
