Nava started running on her high school track and field team and fell in love with racing. She went on to compete at Lafayette College, where she broke the indoor and outdoor school records in the 800m and placed second in indoor and third in outdoor Patriot League Championships. Nava’s goals are to challenge her college PRs, try out some new distances, and hopefully compete on a Millrose DMR. Professionally, she is a Project Engineer at DPR Construction.
