Damian went out for cross-country in sixth grade, after seeming to reach the ceiling of his abilities in rec soccer league. Damian quickly realized his running talents far outpaced his soccer abilities, and the rest is history.
In college, Damian competed for Cornell, where he specialized in the 1500 and mile. A six-time Heps champ, Damian holds Cornell school records in the 800m, 1000m, 1500m, and mile. Adding to an already impressive resume, Damian was an All-American in the 1500m in 2025. Post-collegiately, Damian is looking forward to having some fun on the roads – while the track may make some surprise reappearances. Outside of running, he is a mechanical engineer working at Overview Energy, a space solar energy startup.
