Ellie Leonard

After refusing to run cross country in middle school because “two miles is too far,” Ellie started running year round in high school and hasn’t stopped since. She competed in track and cross country for the University of Michigan and was a part of four Big Ten team titles. After college, she ran the Philadelphia Marathon and the California International Marathon and finished both in under 3 hours. She is looking ahead to competing in more marathons in the next year and hopes to shave several more minutes off her PR. Ellie is currently a medical student at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. After refusing to run cross country in middle school because “two miles is too far,” Ellie started running year round in high school and hasn’t stopped since.
