Emily first became interested in running because her older brother was a runner. After stopping competitive gymnastics, Emily joined her high school team and quickly fell in love with the sport and the team environment. Emily graduated from Washington University in St. Louis where she was a four time All-American and ran the 1200 leg of the 2023 National Champion Indoor DMR. Emily is excited to continue her running career with GRC, focusing on cross-country and the mile in track. Emily works as a high school chemistry and math teacher for the McLean School in Potomac, Maryland.
