Eric Beyerle

Eric started participating in cross country in 4th grade at the behest of his parents, who required him to participate in a fall sport. After suffering through a thoroughly unremarkable high school career, Eric competed for Centre College at the NCAA DIII level from 2011-2015 in both track and cross country. After college, he ran for the University of Oregon running club for six years in graduate school, where he was a NIRCA All-American in 2018 and made the club Top 10 all-time list in the 5000m run in 2021. While in graduate school, Eric set PBs at every distance except the steeplechase. His goal with GRC is to continuing improving as a runner and athlete. Professionally, Eric is a postdoctoral associate in Pratyush Tiwary’s group in the Institute for Physical Science and Technology at the University of Maryland.
