Grace was a triathlete in high school but dropped swimming and biking after realizing she had a preference and competitive edge in the running portion. Her high school successes in the 1500 and 800m, including top finishes in provincial races and winning a Canadian youth national championship, motivated her to run at Dartmouth College, where she continued to focus on mid distance and cross country. College highlights included racing in the Ivy League Heps finals, earning a spot on the 2018 NCAA XC championship racing team, and enjoying many miles with friends in the Hanover trails. After begrudgingly taking some time off running due to injury, Grace is looking forward to getting after some PRs in the 800-5k alongside GRC teammates.
