Jackie Kasal

Jackie’s running career began at a young age in Central Park, where she participated in the kid’s fun runs until she was old enough to join her dad in the 5k and 4 mile races. When her middle school created a track team Jackie was the first to sign up, and continued running through high school. Jackie ran at DePaul University in Chicago where she helped lead the women’s cross country and track teams to their highest scoring finishes in history at the Big East Conference Championships, and was a part of multiple school record breaking relay teams. Individually, Jackie excelled in the 3000m steeplechase but her true passion was for the 800, where she qualified twice for the First Round of NCAA Outdoor Championships.  Jackie hopes to contribute to the growing middle distance squad at GRC. When Jackie isn’t doing intervals on the track she is working as a Program Associate at the nonpartisan nonprofit, Partnership for Public Service.
