Jacob Doherty Munro

Jake started running in 8th grade because both of his older brothers ran in high school and college and it seemed only logical to follow suit. Jake ran all throughout high school and then went on to run for Dickinson College, where his biggest accomplishment was qualifying individually for the D3 National XC Championship his senior year by finishing 18th at Regionals. Jake lost a handful of track seasons due to COVID and injury, so his immediate goal is to break 15 in the 5000 on the track and from there he’d like to pivot to the roads and see what he can do in races anywhere from 5k to the half marathon. Jake works on the Pacific team in USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance.
