Maggie Shelton

Maggie is one of the rare athletes who always knew that she wanted to run track in high school. She started out as a 400 runner, and after her cross country coach made her train with the distance group her sophomore year she moved up to the 800, to great effect.  During her stellar career at Johns Hopkins, she was a 5-time All-American, and in her senior year was the runner-up in the indoor 800 at the NCAA championships.  Maggie’s goals with GRC are to improve her 1500 PR, and run some competitive 400s and 800s. Maggie works as a consultant in Virginia.
