Owen started running as a freshman at Germantown Academy in his native Philadelphia, following in the footsteps of his older brothers. Owen went on to run for Dartmouth College and Georgetown University, where he went on to become a Team Captain, First-Team All-Ivy, and a NCAA Regionals Qualifier. After college, Owen took some “time off” from training before signing up for the 2022 Philadelphia Marathon on a whim. He went on to finish 6th Place (1st American) and qualified for the Olympic Trials. Owen’s goals with GRC are to continue to enjoy running and racing, from the mile to the marathon. Outside of running, Owen works at an investment firm and enjoys Tennis, Stand-Up Comedy, and all things Philly Sports.
