A native Washingtonian, Page Lester essentially ran straight out of the womb. Her first race was an 800m race that she completed at age 2, in 5 minutes. Page went on to run for National Cathedral School here in DC, and then at Princeton University, where her team came tantalizingly close to an Ivy League Championship in cross country her senior year. After completing her undergraduate degree, Page ran for a season at UNC-Chapel Hill while pursuing a master’s degree, but her collegiate running career was cut short due to injury. Page’s goals in running are to try lots of new distances and see how fast she can run in the longer races, because those are her favorite. Professionally, Page is in the process of applying to PA school and works as a medical assistant for an internal medicine practice in DC.
