Tom Harrison

Tom started running competitively in middle school, after he noticed a friend running laps at the batting cage one summer and asked him what he was doing. A few years later, Tom was running with distinction for Coach Jim Ehrenhaft’s St. Albans cross-country program (Washington, DC). During his junior year, St. Albans went undefeated, winning a number of large invitationals across the region before capturing the DC-Maryland private schools title.  For his efforts that fall, Tom earned First Team All-Met designation by the Washington Post and won Gatorade’s Runner of the Year prize for Washington, DC. At the collegiate level, Tom competed for Yale University in both cross-country and track. After graduating from Yale, Tom returned to St. Albans, where he teaches middle school math and coaches alongside Ehrenhaft in the high school running program.
