Brandon Pollard

When Brandon was in elementary school, his dad told him he was fast after a baseball game as he watched him steal bases and catch balls in center field. Bradon participated in a track camp the summer going into 5th grade and recognized that not only did he love running, he was also pretty good at it. Brandon ran at Gonzaga University for 5 years and remains the school record holder in the 800. He also qualified for to represent the United States at Pan American Junior championships and finished second in the 1500. Despite several injuries at Gonzaga, Brandon qualified for NCAA regionals in the 1500 twice. Brandon’s goals with GRC include taking a shot at breaking 4 minutes in the mile and lowering his other track PRs. While not running, biking, or exploring the city, Brandon invests his time in his career as a 6th grade math teacher at a local charter school.
